Alongside my studies, I started my Instagram account to document my ‘slow’ outfits which has broadened to become a space where I showcase a holistically sustainable lifestyle as a pushback to (over) consumption.

I graduated with a Law degree in the midst of the pandemic, and it got me thinking critically about the flaws in our legal systems which culminated in my research project on the underrepresentation of people of colour within British institutions.

I continued my academic journey with an MA in Race, Ethnicity, and Postcolonial Studies, exploring global injustices from various perspectives. The research I conducted for my thesis entitled “Fast fashion: capitalism, colonialism and cotton" solidified my passion to champion the importance of moving away from the neo-colonial, consumerist attitudes  that the fashion industry often perpetuates.

My portfolio proudly features items sourced sustainably, either borrowed, rented, bought secondhand or made by small, sustainable designers.

Thanks for reading and I hope to hear from you soon!
